What’s new in Seattle?

Apparently the new thing in Seattle is ignoring the global warming phenomena. For the past week it has been intolerably cold, and it snowed last weekend. Seriously, the average temp has been almost 20 degrees below normal for this time of year. Not as new Seattle is all weird about the loss of the Sonics. I don’t really know why. Let Oklahoma have a team, especially since the Sonics are the red-headed step-child of Washington sports. Plus Oklahoma probably doesn’t have anything else to do, other than stare lovingly at Texas, or something.
Seriously, what am I gonna do about all my dang problems?
That depends, do you have problems the way Jay-Z or do you have problems the way Michael Jackson has problems?
Because, really, how bad is it to be Jay-Z? Sure he is black and has a lot of problems (99 according to the song), but he also has good money, an attractive lady-friend, and a loving mother. If that’s how it is I say get a pocket calender and write one of your problems in for each day. Spend 1 hour each day solving that problem. Once you are done you have my permission to buy a pony.
If you have problems the way that Michael Jackson has problems I think you are pretty much screwed. I hear he almost had to sell his ranch.
Tell me the story of your first kiss.

It was summer and I was in the San Juan Islands on a bike trip. I was the oldest kid on the trip. This is the first time in my life that anyone found me enchanting and the two girls on the trip were both, at the least, intrigued by me.
Because we were camping during the summer we spent the first couple of nights sleeping outside as a group. During the second night I found myself touching a soft slender hand. Tired and unfamiliar with what exactly I was doing I started to look at the stars, letting myself not think, and began caressing an arm, a shoulder and pressing against this body next to me. Finally kissing one of the girls on the trip. That was also the first girl I made out with.
